Note:  Not certain that D. D. Tompkins Vaughn is the son of Samuel & Polly Vaughn; I only know that is he likely the son of one of the 3 brothers from Erin, Chemung, New York.   A brief bio of the Daniel Vaughn & Elizabeth Mills family does not mention DDT Vaughn as a son, so it is likely that Samuel or James/Joseph is the father.  For the time being, I am attaching DDTV to this family.  kmh.
