Alverton S. "Bert" Adle, 94, of 313 N. Main st., died early this morning at the Gerrit-Smith Infirmary, Eaton, where he had been a patient for one day. Born in Peterboro, on Dec. 21, 1873, he was the son of Henry and Olive Guy Adle. A lifelong resident of Madison County, he was a blacksmith by profession. His wife, the former Grace Butler, died in 1921. Mr. Adle was of the Methodist Faith. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Zabele and Mrs. Ruth Shelley, both of Oneida, Mrs. Mabel Milgate of Sherrill and Mrs. Connie (sic - Carrie) Harp of Eaton; 12 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
