  [Strawberry Point, Iowa]   Mrs. Mary Jewett, who suffered a paralytic stroke Friday evening, July 14, 1922, passed away last Wednesday evening, having never fully regained consciousness. She is survived by her two sons, William, at home, and County Supt. A.E. Jewett of Independence. Her husband, Morris Jewett, died a few years ago and a son, James Monroe Jewett, was killed by a train, July 1897. Funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon conducted by Rev. Kirby, pastor of the M.E. Church, after which the remains were laid to rest beside the beloved ones in our beautiful cemetery. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the two sons in the loss of their devoted mother.
