Grace E. Crocker, age 93 of 419 Washington, Apt. 8, and formerly of 3100 State, died Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 6:20 p.m. in Blessing Hospital.
Grace was born October 17, 1921 in Adams County, Illinois, the daughter of Julius Virgil and Grace Edith Reeder Crocker.
Grace was employed as a bookkeeper for Quincy Supply Company for 46 years. She was a member of Vermont Street United Methodist Church and was an active volunteer at Sunset Home and Vermont Street United Methodist Church.
Grace is survived by 14 nieces and nephews; numerous grand-nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, ----- Crocker of Leesburg, FL; and a cousin, ----- Bradney of Elgin, IL.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, Jessie Grace Crocker, Nellie V. Crocker, Lillian May Ahrens, Esther L. McClurg and Blanche Ward, and five brothers, Julius R., Daniel A., Melvin H., John Richard and Charles Edward Crocker.
Funeral Services: 11:00 am on Wednesday (October 22, 2015) at Vermont Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Patty Johansen and Clif Weisinger officiating.
Burial: Quincy Memorial Park, Quincy, Illinois
Visitation: 4:00 - 6:30 pm Tuesday (October 21, 2014) at the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.
