General Notes
ELMA ALMIRA CUTLIP was born in 1860 in Oakland, Douglas County, Oregon, the daughter of Abraham Cutlip and Harriet E. Cook. One source says she was born in July 1860, however she appears on the 1860 census as a 6-month old child. Since the enumeration was done in August of 1860, that would place her birth about February 1860.
Elma married William I. BONEBRAKE on 20 June 1880 in Coos River, Coos County, Oregon. Elma's husband William is profiled in "The Centennial History of Oregon 1811-1912," published in 1912. The article includes a picture of William, Elma and their 3 daughters. They had a son who died at 15.
Elma died 28 April 1946 in Coos River, and is buried at the Coos River Pioneer Cemetery (also known as South Fork Cemetery).
