Harold's parents were Leander E. Trinkle and Cora Etta Patton both of Washington Co, Indiana. Cora's parents were William Benton Patton and Mary E. Wible, also born in Washington Co., Indiana.  Mary Wible's parents were Adam Wible and Serena Trabue.

After the 1920 census Harold moved to Santa Ana, Orange, CA. and later to Glendale.
