Guessing at the name of Patrick Clarke for two reasons:  Annie Nolan's father, when referring to the burial plot of the Clarkes at St. Ninnidh's Church, used to say "five generations of Clarkes are buried here, and the father of them all was Patrick".  Also, it was known that each generation of Clarks wanted to be sure to name a son "Patrick".   Unfortunately, we have not found any written records to confirm this conjecture.  LHC
