    DEATHS and FUNERALS

    James T. Morgan Dies At Age 66; Funeral Friday

    James Thomas Morgan, of 609 South Tenth street, died at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Good Samaritan Hospital, where he had been a patient for the past three weeks. Mr. Morgan, a trucker, was 66 years, three months and 27 days of age. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p. m. at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Charlie Karch officiating. Friends may call at Myers Chapel at any time after 2:00 p.m. Thursday. Mr. Morgan was born November 9, 1889 in Mt. Vernon, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Silas Morgan. He was a lifetime resident of this city. On April 7, 1936 he was married, in Mt. Vernon, to Versa Nelson, who survives. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Floyd Morgan of Benton; one daughter, Mrs. Ella Roberts of Hot Springs, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Dora Cameron of Idaho; a stepson, Ivan M. Dodson of Mt. Vernon; and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dorothy McClellan of Mt. Vernon.
