     OAKLAND — Iva Mae Raymond, 74, of Oakland, died at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday (July 18, 2001) at the Arthur Home, Arthur.
     A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Villa Grove Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Sweeney officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Taber Funeral Home, Oakland.
     She was born Aug. 14, 1926, in Ware, the daughter of Charles and Edna Hayes Rogers. She married Harold Gilliland in 1945. She later married Earl Raymond in 1965; he died in 1997.
     Surviving are two sons, ----- Gilliland of Arcola and ----- Gilliland of Oakland; one daughter, ----- ----- of Rantoul; five stepsons, ----- Raymond of Tuscola, ----- ----- of Decatur, ----- Raymond of Toronto, ----- Raymond of St. Charles and ----- Raymond of Mt. Vernon; one stepdaughter, ----- ----- ----- of Villa Grove; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 15 stepgrandchildren; and 21 stepgreat-grandchildren.
     She was also preceded in death by one stepson, one stepgrandchild, three brothers and two sisters.
     Mrs. Raymond was a practical nurse and tended bar at the French Embassy in Arcola for many years.
     Memorials may be made to the Arthur Home, Arthur.
