     DECATUR — Charles Vernon Raymond, 57, of Decatur died 3:10 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 4, 1999) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
     Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home.
     Charles was born in St. Louis on June 1, 1942, the son of Marion Earl and Mary Kathrine Rife Raymond. He worked in the HVAC business for Duncan Supply and Rogers Supply.
     Surviving are his close friend and companion, ----- ----- of Decatur; sons, ----- Raymond and wife ----- and ----- Raymond, all of Bourbonnais; daughter, ----- ----- and fiance ----- ----- of Philo; stepmother, Iva Mae Raymond of Oakland; brothers, ----- Raymond and wife ----- of Fairland; ----- Raymond of Orangeville, Canada; ----- Raymond and wife ----- of St. Charles; ----- Raymond and wife ----- of Tuscola; ----- ----- and wife ----- of Decatur; sister, ----- ----- and husband ----- of Fairland; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
     Charles was a good Dad, grandpa, son and brother and will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
