         Delta — Jacob Shuls, 77 years old, of Delta died Tuesday at Veterans Administration Hospital in St. Louis.
         Mr. Shuls was born in Delta Feb. 11, 1896, and lived there his entire life. He was a retired farmer.
         Surviving: stepdaughter, Mrs. Homer Hinkle, Advance, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
         His wife, the former Stella Garner; a daughter, Mrs. Chester Lesch and a stepson, Leo Garner, all preceded him in death.
         The body is at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where friends may call after 7 tonight.
         Service will be held at 1 Thursday afternoon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kenyon Cemetery near Delta.

         DELTA — Jacob N. Shuls, 77, died Tuesday in St. Louis.
         He was born Feb. 11, 1896 in Allenville, and was a veteran of World War I. On June 12, 1925 he married Stella Garner, who preceded him in death Feb. 11, 1967.
         Survivors include one stepdaughter, Marie Hinkle of Advance; one grandson; one granddaughter and eight step-grandchildren.
         Services were conducted at 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with the Rev. Arthur Diggs of Delta officating.
         Burial was in Kynion Cemetery near Delta.
