  • Davida's death was first reported on page 2, column 7 of The Wanganui Herald on Friday, 10 February 1899 in Wanganui, Manawatu-Wanganui, New Zealand.

         We regret to record the death of Mrs Tester, which occurred at midday today. Deceased had reached the good old age of 76 years, and had survived her husband, the late Christopher Tester, by four or five years. She leaves one daughter, Mrs F. H. Crawford, of Ohakune.
