Alberta Rose Anderson was born 25 Aug 1932 in Washington, the daughter of Albert Arnold Anderson and his wife, Nancy Liona Hill. She died at the age of 8 years old, on the 4th of July holiday in 1941, in Seattle, King County, Washington, USA.

It was a very traumatic event — Alberta and her sister Violet were sitting at Woodland Park when a drunk driver left the road and ran over Alberta, narrowly missing Violet. Alberta was apparently dragged for some distance before they could get the car to stop.
