Carolyn was born December 31, 1946 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of the late Robert Loyd and Ada Mae (Mallinson) Meadows. She married Ilmar Palm-Leis in 1976. He preceded her in death Nov. 2, 1991.
Carolyn was a member of Manchester United Methodist Church in St. Louis, MO. She was an Administrative Assistant at Bank of America in St. Louis for the past 5 years. Carolyn was a member of a Local Bridge Club in St. Louis, and Manchester Methodist Single's Group.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Fri., Nov. 10, 2000 at BRINTLINGER Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thur., Nov. 9 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan, IL. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research or Grace United Methodist Church.
