Cause of his death was heart attack. Other names for Harry were Daddypop CLARK and Harry Augustin CLARK. General Notes In his late teens, Harry left home to find work. He moved to Alexander County, Illinois to work at a gun powder mill. Like the other workmen, he boarded at "Grandma Brown's house". There he met her daughter. He and Ethel were married in 1910. Most of their married life was spent in East St. Louis, Illinois, where they lived for over 35 years. However, in 1956, having their fill of cold weather and coal furnaces, they sold their home on 83rd Street and moved to Tampa, Florida, with their granddaughter Rita May Holdener. She was the oldest of the grandchildren and the first to call him Daddypop, a name that stuck and was used endearingly by all the other 23 grandchildren.
