Paul R. Moore, 94, of Belleville, Ill., born Thursday, Oct. 7, 1918, in Cottonwood, Ill., died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Paul worked as a teacher/principal for East St. Louis School District 189. He was a member of Winstanley Baptist Church Fairview Heights, Ill., a deacon and choir member of the church, and a member of the East St. Louis Rotary Club. Paul was a United States Army veteran and served in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, M. Louise, nee Crow, Moore; his first wife, Mary, nee Mattingly, Moore; father, Clarence Moore; mother, Mabel A., nee Bell, Moye; stepfathers, Lowell Proctor and George Moye; brothers, George Moore, and Eugene Proctor; sister, Helen Ruemmler; stepbrother, Woodrow Proctor; and stepsister, June Bacon.
Surviving are his son, ----- Moore of Belleville, Ill.; daughter, ----- (Dr. -----) Jones of Belleville, Ill.; stepsister, ----- DeJarnett of Godfrey, Ill.; grandchild, Dr. ----- (Dr. -----) Kucharczyk of Belleville, Ill.; great-grandchildren, Jenna Kucharczyk, Mia Kucharczyk, and Blaire Kucharczyk; and beloved nieces, great-nieces, nephews and cousins,
