Louise C. Moore, nee Crow, 92, of Belleville, Ill., born , Nov. 19, 1915, in Princeton, Ind., died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Moore worked as a elementary teacher for School District 189 for more than 25 years. She was a member of Winstanley Baptist Church, the church librarian and served as a Sunday School teacher and secretary.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel C. and Mary Zilphia, nee Wilson, Crow.
Surviving are her husband, Paul R. Moore; her daughter, ----- (Dr. -----) Jones of Belleville, Ill.; step-son, ----- Moore of Belleville, Ill.; and granddaughter, Dr. ----- (Dr. -----) Kucharczyk of Belleville, Ill.
Memorials may be made to the Winstanley Baptist Church, Hospice of Southern Illinois or Baptist Children's Home, Carmi, Ill.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at Winstanley Baptist Church in Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at Winstanley Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Steve Phillips, the Rev. Wendell Garrison and the Rev. Jim Houpt officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.
