CARLOCK — Maxie V. Redfairn, 85, of 700 N. Main St., Eureka, formerly of 327 N. Church St., Carlock, died at 2 a.m. Tuesday (April 22, 2003) at Eureka Community Hospital, Eureka.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at East White Oak Bible Church, Carlock, the Rev. Ron Workman officiating. Burial will be in East White Oak Union Cemetery, Carlock. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Otto-Argo-Calvert Memorial Home, Carlock.

She was born Nov. 1, 1917, at Danvers, a daughter of Samuel Carr and Lizzie Catherine Jones Waller. She married Elden A. Redfairn on Oct. 3, 1936, in Mount Carmel. He survives.
Other survivors include a sister, Laura Smith, Normal; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, an infant daughter, six brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Redfairn was a member of East White Oak Bible Church, Carlock.
She loved children and enjoyed helping care for her nieces and nephews.
