Doug Hinrichsen service held here Monday
Funeral service for George Douglas "Doug" Hinrichsen of Bakersfield Calif., was held in the Peet Chapel Jan. 19 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Fred Bolinger officiating. Organist, Mrs. Minerva Watson accompanied Tim Johnson as he sang "Why Me" and "In the Garden." Casket bearers were Rex Whitney, Jake Smith, John Pittser, Mike Hinrichsen, Jack Williams and Steve Wagner. Mr. Hinrichsen died Jan. 14 at Bakersfield. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
George Douglas Hinrichsen was born to Donald and Alice George Hinrichsen at Astoria, Ore., July 22, 1952. He attended schools in Bakersfield and was employed there as a car salesman.
Mr. Hinrichsen is survived by his mother Mrs. Alice Gilpin of Portland, Ore.; his father and stepmother of Mokane, Mo.; grandparents Alice Kincaid and Loren George of Central Junction, Ore.; two brothers March Hinrichsen and Michael Ray Hinrichsen; one sister Lisa Hinrichsen; one half brother Edward Greenfield and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Vera Hinrichsen.
