Powell Grove Cemetery

David Powell founded the 1 acre cemetery in 1848. The death dates on some of the stones date back as far as 1837 and are believed to have been moved from another location.

Powell Grove Cemetery, squeezed between Sandy Boulevard and Northeast 122nd Avenue, contains the graves of many pioneers, including David Powell who homesteaded much of the area in the mid-1800s.
