Parents:  George Alexander Russell and Nancy Elizabeth Morris

Georgia suffered from cancer and died at 41 years of age. Due to her illness, she had to put 2 of her daughters into an orphanage so they could be cared for.  The daughters, Glenda(14) and Freeda(12) went to the Corsicana Orphans Home in Olney Texas. They completed their education there, and stayed until 18 years of age. Roberta helped the nurses at the hospital, with the other patients, when she could.

Georgia married Elmer Wade PRUETT on 25 June 1922 in Cooke County, Texas, USA.1 The marriage ended in divorce before 1942. (Elmer Wade PRUETT was born on 6 January 1903 in Woodbine, Cooke County, Texas, USA, died on 13 May 1973 in Rogue River, Jackson County, Oregon, USA and was buried in 1973 in Medford, Jackson County, Oregon, USA.)
