General Notes
ANNE HAINING was born 06 September 1861 in Tarbolton, Ayrshire, Scotland, the daughter of William Haining and Anne Stobo (and the twin sister to David Haining). She lived for much of her life in Tarbolton, appearing on the 1871, 1881, 1891, and 1901 censuses there. She was a student, a servant, and a dressmaker. Anne never married.
She died 11 November 1944 in Gourock, Renfrewshire, Scotland and was buried in Sandymount Cemetery. She is commemorated, however, on the Haining monument in Tarbolton Churchyard, along with her parents and grandparents.
