Comments: Hi
I have an amendment to your entry regarding Henry Bertram Law Webb which states that he died in Snowdonia, Wales. He actually died at Deep Gill, Scafell, Eskdale, England. This is in the Lake District, England not Wales. This information is from the England & Wales National Probate Records
Regards Cathy
Admin reply: Hi, Cathy —
Thanks very much for the correction on Henry Bertram Law Webb's death location (and thanks also for pointing out the source for the information). The location I had came from a close relative, but family information is sometimes wrong about the particulars (but right about locations in other respects). Perhaps he was buried in Snowdonia? Or maybe he lived there for a number of years before his death in the Lake District of England.
Regardless, I appreciate the help. And thanks for visiting my website!
cheers, Kirsty Haining Seattle, Washington

Comments: Hey Haining I just wondered how you were related to Floyd an Florence Boyle Alvis. I have never heard any of the names in this article, But I would love to know. I did see a error that said Floyd Alvis died in Davies Co. He passed in Princeton In.
Admin reply: Hi, Karen —
Floyd Alvis and Florence Boyle are the "in laws" in my tree. One of my cousins married their daughter Hilda.
Thanks for the note about Floyd's death location. The location I used came from the social security death index — his last residence (I presumed he was staying with one of his children). I know that for most of his life he lived in Princeton, though.
I'll be sending you an email shortly. Thanks for visiting my website!
cheers, Kirsty

Comments: My sister Andrea rang me to tell me about our Grand father William Kiddell-Monroe..and you in Particular..are you related to him? We never knew him of course as my sister was born in York in 1953 and I was born in York in 1958..we also have a brother..William Richard Paul who was born in York in 1950.
It is only in the past 4 or 5 years we have discovered that our paternal grand parents were not married. My father william Edward Charles was not aware of this either..he was born an only child in 1921.
He would have loved a family..sisters and brothers..He also would have been devastated if he knew his parents were not married..he was a half brother to Layla's children. I know my sister has been in touch with you but I wont know till the morning what she has written. I am sure I am speaking for her as well that we would dearly love to know more..I have a lot of information regarding my Grandfather that you may not be aware of.. I really hope to hear from you soon.. Debbie
Admin reply: Hi, Debbie —
I'll be replying to you and your sister shortly, by direct email. So glad Google led you to me — it's part of the whole reason why I finally got my own website.

You connect on the "in laws" side of the family tree, which is why the information on the Archibald Connor family is incomplete. That is actually intentional. Without limits, I would drown in the sea of genealogy! So for people who marry into my family tree, I include the details on his or her parents (so the person is properly identified and so that other folks — like you — know where their trees might intersect with my own), but I rarely include other siblings unless one or more of those other siblings ALSO married into my family tree. It's the only way I can keep my family tree manageable.
I will contact you by direct email shortly, but I wanted to send a quick note for now to say hello.
