Thank you for posting this information online. I am rabbit trailing around the Internet mostly and expanding my research to include the distant cousins of the James Fyffe Sr or 1st (born 1713 Scotland) genealogy. I have the "The Descendants of James Harrison Fyffe" document created by Jean Fyffe Fladger Shanelec on 8/2/1993 that I am adding to.

Admin reply: Paul, I'm glad that I was able to contribute something for your research! cheers, Kirsty :D

Hoping this comment gets through, as the other one was marked as spam....

I came across your page while doing a quick google search for my grandfather, Charles S. Osborne. He was married to my grandmother, Margaret, and I can offer updated info them both.

My grandmother also gave me many of Charles' memories, photos and other items after his passing. I have his original Navy locker with many items from his service. I would be interested in sharing them with his direct family, but never had any means of contacting them.

Please email.

Admin reply: Hi, Charles — Thanks for signing my guestbook. Unfortunately, your grandmother's husband is on the fringe of my tree, so I may not be able to help you. But I will email you shortly. cheers, Kirsty :!thinking:

So excited to find an updated website with some ancestral information on it! George Timm and Martha Virginia Schwemer were my grandparents. "Timm" is for his mother's maiden name, and was passed on for a few more generations as well (to my father and then my older brother). George served in the pacific campaign of WWII. After the war, he owned a BBQ restaurant in Los Angeles, CA.

I've been trying to do some more digging about the Clarks, but I'm not having much luck at the moment. Anything you can share would be appreciated! :)

Admin reply: Hi, Megan —

I'm so glad to hear from you! We are cousins (4th cousins, to be precise). I have a lot of information on your Clark heritage, since that's the line we're connected through. I will email you directly.

cheers, Kirsty :!cool:

I know the ancestry of William Macnab's family. His sister Mary Macnab is my ancestor. Andrew Macnab and Catherine Thorburn married in Edinburgh in 1776. They had a family of at least 10 children in Lecropt Perthshire (Close to Stirling). I hope you are interested in making contact. I was thrilled to discover your site. Kind regards Karen

Admin reply: Hi, Karen —

How very nice to hear from you. William McNab and Helen Gemmell are the "in laws" from my point of view, so I'm not researching their other family. However, I have a Rennie cousin who is a direct descendant of this line and I'm sure he'd love to hear from you. I will email you directly with his contact details. Thanks for visiting my website!

cheers, Kirsty ;)

Hello Kirsty

Many thanks for your speedy reply. I am not sure how I can get your e-mail address to send you a private e-mail? Have a few other details I can give you, some passed on by other Dishington descendants.
All the best, Deirdre

Admin reply: Whoops! :!thinking: Guess I need to make my direct email link a little more obvious on this page. I'll email you directly since it may be a while before I can fix the HTML.

Hello
Have just googled Isaac Dishington and found your entry for him and his wife Alison Cowan. I am also descended from them and have quite extensive family trees for that family. Which child are you descended from? Regards Deirdre McClure

Admin reply: Hi, Deirdre — Isaac and Alison's daughter Mary Dishington had a child out of wedlock with my relative, Andrew Alexander Dudgeon. Their daughter Mary Dudgeon, born in 1830, married John Delaney in 1856. I connect to the Dudgeons, although I do not descend from this particular family (Andrew Alexander Dudgeon's grandfather is my direct ancestor).

I know Isaac Dishington had a very large family, but I've only included enough to identify Mary Dishington, the mother of Mary Dudgeon. I am missing a few details — Alison's death date and place, and burial informaton for Isaac, Alison, and Mary (Dishington) Craig. If you have any of that information, I'd love to hear about it. Otherwise, my interest in mainly in the descendants of Mary Dudgeon and John Delaney. I'm looking for additional updates on that branch if you have them, and if not, I'm more than willing to share what I have. Send me a direct email if you're interested in a gedcom file.

Thanks for visiting my website!

cheers,
Kirsty

Greetings, I just found your site after Googling my great-grandmothers name(Pearl Eudora Wicks nee Sams). I could not find info on my grandmother or her 2 brothers(Carol, Don, and Bruce). I would like to find out how that side of the family fits with your tree. I also have cousins all over Lane and Douglas counties descended through them. I look forward to hearing from you, thanks.

Admin reply: Hi, Robert! Expect an email from me shortly. Kirsty :D

Hi Kirsty- I've been researching my ancestors in Scotland and found information about one of them on your site: Fanny Sawer (actually Sawers). She was my great-grandmother's sister, born in Dalkeith, Scotland in 1855. I would love to know if you have any additional information about the Sawers family or Fanny's children (their surname was Millar). What a cool find! Thank you so much! Kim

Admin reply: Hi, Kim! Nice to hear from you. I will email you directly about your family connections. Thanks for visiting my website. ;)
